15 recolors (3 not pictured because of lack of space on the wall...) of lmwjs's resized Bon Voyage paintings, which I love, but of which I had way to little square recolors, so I made some.

Personally I adore the one with the Lost in Translation picture, I'm still squeeing about that pretty artwork. Anyway, enjoy them.

Ack, I'm sorry, 3 tests a week turn me into a lazy sociopath who scowls at old, loud and slow people. I want this to be over, but I still have 6 exams left, buhuhu and my headache is going: badumbadum.

As my time of school is ultimately coming to an end, the whole prom issue is coming up and so today my (female) friends talked about the dresses they're going to wear for prom and the whole short style or full-length dresses issue and shoes, blahblahblah. That was when I noticed that I don't really have any clue yet (also it's still like 6 month till the actual prom anyway, ahaha, wtf girl, wtf) what I'm going to wear. So I browsed the net a bit (okay okay for 2 hours) when I returned from school and came up with this:

thrift set

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I finally uploaded my thrift set at GOS.
That's all. ;) Yeah, I'm a bit busy at the moment, I'm having a bunch of exams atm...yikes.

I'm in love. In love with Audrey Niffenegger.

It was my birthday on Monday (didn't mention that, oops) and my parents gave me tickets for her only reading of her new book in Germany. And what can I say, The Time Travelers Wife is one of my favorite books ever and she's such an interesting amazing woman. So great. And when she signed my books I couldn't help but tell her that I loved her dress and guess what, she said it back. I'm still amazed and I love my mother for that awesome idea of a gift and the nice birthday I had in general. You see, happy Malle is happy.

The rest of the week was a bit stressful, so I didn't really get anything done, I just continued the thrift set a bit.

Blerg, school started again today. Getting up this morning was a torture...I'm a terrible grumpy in the mornings, haha.

Sims-wise I'm busy collecting ideas for this month GOS theme, which is perfect for me: THRIFT!
I already made some posters and I'm planning to make some worn wood recolors of Miras newest set plus maybe some other kitchy accessories, we'll see.

stressed out

This weekend is a birthday party overload weekend. I'm going to one tonight and tomorrow night. The latter is also a Halloween party which I found out...today.
"Great zombie costume!" "Uhm, what?" LOL
Anyway first I had a major but-I-don't-have-a-costume-buhuhu-what-shall-I-do moment but then I realised that I'm not the crazy chick who's said to have a costumes chest (which really doesn't exist...anymore, for more than 7 years) for nothing. I digged through my closet and due to my obsession with small hats and flea market knick-knacks I could easily set up some 50s inspired lady outfit.

Now excuse me, I have to find the loveliest last minute gift ever...shame on me.

(Saw The Babysitters yesterday night, which was contrary to my expectations really a good movie, though I'm also still a bit freaked out since I'm a [normal] babysitter too XD)

Gosh, the quality of the previews is shitty. Here's a little album with better ones.

EDIT: While taking the previews I noticed that the 2-tile ones are a little bit too high to be placed over certain objects. But the good thing is that they can be placed on (shiftable!) OMSPs so here is a very low version, just in case.
