Please bear with me as I'm eagerly working on releasing all the stuff.
I have a whopping 220 files to wade through (and that's without meshes, yes) and pack in to little christmassy gift collection files, so I have absolutely no idea where to start! There's the dungeons, the Great Hall, the dorms, the common rooms, the class rooms, the hospital wing, the library aso....HELP!

Anyway, if you're one of those people like me who always kind of thought "Gosh, a Harry Potter neighbourhood that would be rad, but where do I even start??" here are a few links that helped me tons while building my own Hogwarts:

Basically everything Adele has ever made - YOU.WILL.NEED.IT, believe me!

Kativip's stuff was mighty useful, too.

Since the magical world is kind of set in this pre-electricity time, medieval stuff was needed, lots of it!

The go-to source obviously, they have LOTS of great stuff.
Lama has the best walls and floors.
This list was a lifesaver!
An alchemy set with some quite useful knick-knacks, fireplaces and my fav book cases, too.

Then there is the whole lot of Sims Medieval conversions, Roman did lots and so did Chimerical. Clutter-a-holic has the best, well...clutter.

Bodyshop stuff for your Hogwart-lings that I like:

Cloudlessnights made a very good uniform with cloak at MTS.

I really love this suit with the jacket by Yuxi in combinations with one of Daislias Hogwarts scarfs! (they're adult only obviously, my students are YA since I built Hogwarts as a university)

Chaz' Hermione has a neat Hogwarts sweater/tie/shirt combo included
(I'm not very talented when it comes to Bodyshop, but I should tackle this thing at some point and make it unisex and in all house colors)

If you've got all these things you are basically ready to go, but keeping an eye open for sets with little knick-knacks that could be useful and potentially magical is a must! ;)

Then there's always the difficulty of actually building Hogwarts. Lots of people have managed to do so, I tried to build my own, more or less successfully. I wanted to have it as one lot without my laptop crashing and burning, so I had to scale down a bit. It's not perfect, cause I'm horrible at building but it does the job (the entrance to the Slytherin common room is through the potions class room, cough, haha). Personally, I would give it a try and build it to your likings and at a size your computer can handle, otherwise have a look at the ones I linked.

Well hello! I'm actually still around and lurking, so this didn't go unnoticed.
Thanks so much secret-maker, I feel flattered that I'm not completely forgotten yet, even though I never update, haha!

Truth be told, I'm actually working on a gigantic, way too demanding project of building my own "little" (kind of a contradiction in itself, no?) Hogwarts. In the process quite a few things needed to be created which always went something like this:

Lets make those dorm rooooms! Woooh!

Wait wait wait. I don't have any four poster beds in the house colors?

Great! Now I have to make some...

Maybe I should make some flags too. Oh and I need lots of paintings.....

Anyway, look, this is my trio and the common room. :D

I'm not really sure yet how I'm gonna do this thing, release the stuff while I'm working on it or put everything up for download once I'm done with the whole thing.

Hi guys, told you I'd be lazy again, haha. Anyway I just wanted to share a few things I made over the last few weeks (month?).
First of all I needed a few new nice rugs. I love these by kaputtgeliebt but they're often not big enough for my likings so I made these on Mango's mesh.

Includes 10 recolors, mesh is included, everything's compressorized!

Then I also made 3 recolors of this cute little sofa by kativip. I must admit, being German I find a few of her Nazi inspired sets a bit uncomfortable, tribute or not, but I guess that's what the delete button was invented for...

Hm, so what do you say after disappearing for half a year? Ah never mind, have loads of Sims candy!

First I have a living room set which contains: a sofa by Hek (without the pillows of the original mesh) with 6 recolors, 2 matching pillows in different sizes by Jope with loads of mix & match ready recolors, a matching end table by OM, an armchair by MT cakestore (with quite big textures which increase the the file size drastically), a silver/white table lamp by DOT in 2 sizes (just one pictured), a white recolor of Simsinparis curtain, non-Second Life pictures for Cassandre's lovely frames (better get the whole set cause I just included the white frame recolors), another table lamp by Jope, a small Buddha head by dgandy completely in white and a rug by Simcontrol.

I made some nice bargains at the flea market: sunglasses, a cool bowling-bag, a cute little silvery clutch, a head band, a nice picture frame for my collection (recognize the picture? haha) and this cute bracelet. :D
And I started this kind of Victorian/Regency inspired Pride & Prejudice style neighbourhood.
My first house is this summerhouse for Noel & Portia Withersfield.

You probably thought I was kidnaped and brought to some farm with goats and stuff in the mountains of Tajikistan, but guess what, I wasn't. :P
I'm just very busy with school at the moment, shit is very frightening and time-consuming when you're having your final exams in March/April. Gah, I don't even wanna think about it right now... I admit that the rest of my spare free time was spend on obsessively watching 'How I met your mother' and the new Gossip Girl episodes, oh snap, the new Greys Anatomy episode aired yesterday...

Anyways, I had some time to recolor last weekend but then I never found the time to publish the result, ah well:

I finally had the guts to spend my birthday money and a bit of what I saved up to order the Ipod Touch (3G 32 GB) I've been meaning to buy for some weeks and now I'm so happy and excited for it.
Still 2 class papers to go, but the Ipod adds some hope on the horizon. :D

Hm, sims-wise I have some stuff in the making but I didn't have the time yet I was too lazy to take any previews yet, sorry, and in my spare time I'm also eagerly working on my SS gift. :)

Since I l-o-v-e furnishing tiny, tiny houses, cause I love challenges, I decorated this one today and actually wanted to share it, but now that I tested it (stupid idea to do that after decorating...doh) I noticed that I failed miserably at making it tiny and cluttered, but playable. :(

My first time in the 'press' and they misspelled my name, now everybody will think I'm a girl who calls herself 'male'. XD
BUT I don't really give a damn anyway, cause MIRA said I'm an EXCEPTIONAL DECORATOR! :D (havin' major freak-out rightnow)

But I have to admit that I haven't really shown any decorating pics lately at all.
The problem is that I'm a freaking perfectionist and that I hate most of what I do the next day already anyway. This is why often completely decorated houses end up in the 'house bin' without being shown to anyone at all. But I digged out some older and newer pics from my screencaps folder for you of rooms I obviously liked well enough. ;)

Finally here are the BV painting recolors (also the fixed horizontal ones + the upside down bunnies for omer XD sorry didn't picture them, but they're quite nice, believe me, oh and some frame recolors are included as well), 4 steffor curtain recolors I actually made for the box house and 2 recolors of this huge "Three Dogs and Olive" painting that came with NL. I put all of the stuff in seperate folders, so that you can choose what you want.
Note that all meshes are included, but for the BV paintings I only included the slave meshes, so if you want all size and don't have them already you might want to check out this awesome resized ones by Kara & lmhw.

It's not like I'm not doing anything atm, but I just don't have anything finished to show off right now. I'm like 75% finished decorating a house, I'm 30% finished recoloring the newest Simply Styling set and 0% finished scanning the photos from the photo lab.
Yeah, so I only have this two pics to show so far:

Hey fellas, 2 things for today:
First, I need to rant a bit: Yesterday I spent about half an hour recoloring some steffor painting, just to notice when I was in-game to take preview pics that this friggin thing wasn't recolorable.
There are only a few of steffors things that aren't recolorable, but guess what, I tried to recolor all of them without knowing that, once...and the same is true for this new FA cherryND, btw.
Which leads me to my second rant: Have you ever noticed that shitty Amber banner at TSR which addresses greeting to you & wants to know you're name? Which of course is totally retarded itself, but which is also kinda annoying if she does that friggin noisy while you're actually listening to music yourself and if she's doing that everytime you're opening another page...

But second, something positive, I went riot today with recoloring the newest Simply Styling set and born was this mass of recolors:

Okay, this is what happend:
Caro gave some fortune cookie to me which she got at some chinese restaurant about a week ago which said the following:

Since then the following things happend to me:
- I got some nasty virus on my computer and had to reformate it
- the number 2 of my most hated teachers ever happend to be my new history teacher
- my graphic tablett finally arrived, but guess what, the pen is broken and I've probably gotta send it back
- the chinese seams to be on vacation since 3 days now
- right now I'm completely soaked with rain cause I was caught in the rain

Great, I feel like effin Lindsay Lohan in "Freaky Friday" if you know what I mean, I think I'm gonna burn this frakkin thing tomorrow or something...

Anyway, sorry I haven't updated anything like promised but school's stressing me out a little more than I expected, but I will try to upload some of the new recolors at the weekend.

SILVER OR PURPLE?

Which one shall I pick?

I really don't know. The silver one is classic and timeless, but the purple one is kinda extravagant and chic.
In the end it doesn't really matter cause the mobile-phone itself is totally cool: 3 megapixel, mp3-player etc.
I just have to buy some additional 2 GB SD-card, cause it just comes with 256 MB...

Sims-wise there's nothing new, but I just downloaded some nice peggy edits and I think I will do some screenshots of it with a nice sim wearing it.
